FAQ

Common questions answered

Are these bags compatible with my vacuum sealer?

Yes — our bags work with all clamp-style vacuum sealers that use standard heat-seal bags. This includes FoodSaver (all models), Weston, NutriChef, Geryon, NESCO, GameSaver, and most other consumer and commercial brands. If your sealer uses a channel-style bag (not a canister or zipper-only model), our bags will work.

Are the bags BPA-free and food safe?

Yes. All our bags are made from BPA-free, food-grade polyethylene and nylon. They meet FDA food-contact standards and are safe for direct contact with all food types including raw meat, fish, and produce.

Can I use these bags for sous vide cooking?

Absolutely. Our bags are rated food-safe up to 195°F (90°C), making them fully compatible with sous vide immersion circulators. Always ensure a strong seal before submerging.

How long does vacuum-sealed food last compared to regular storage?

Properly vacuum-sealed food typically lasts 3–5× longer than conventional storage. Frozen beef can last 2–3 years vs. 6 months in a standard freezer bag. Refrigerated cheese can last 4–8 months. Results vary by food type, initial quality, and storage conditions.

Can the bags be washed and reused?

Yes, for non-raw-meat contents. Wash with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and allow to fully dry before resealing. Do not reuse bags that held raw meat, fish, or eggs.

What is your return policy?

Returns should be requested within 15 days of receipt of order and may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Due to FDA regulations, we cannot accept open boxes or open packages of bags.

Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing?

Yes. We offer volume discounts on case quantities. Contact us with your size and quantity needs and we'll put together a quote.
